Need a hand tuning up your lawn mower? We can help!

The Husqvarna company has been around forever - literally! It was founded in Sweden in the year 1689 ( no, that was not a typo). For any company to last through the centuries, it has to be providing a good product. Recently, Husqvarna entered the lawn mower market with a variety of solid models to choose from.

Husqvarna mowers are both stylish and laden with features. Sporting a distinctive ‘Swedish Style’, these machines are painted Husqvarna orange. All of the Husqvarna lawn mowers in this line have stamped steel decks. One model has a blade clutch. Self propel is available, with both rear wheel drive and front wheel drive offered. All have a handle that folds, and one comes equipped with an electric start. One of the mowers from this manufacturer has no wheels - it hoovers over the grass!

The model 7021P represents the lowest cost mower in the line. A rear bag is standard. A blade brake stops the engine when the handle is released. It is powered by a Honda overhead valve ( OHV) engine, which is both reliable and powerful. The model 7021F is the lowest priced self propelled Husqvarna mower. A Honda overhead valve (OHV) engine comes standard Featuring front wheel drive, this mower is a good value for the price.

Model 62522FE represents the mid-priced front wheel drive self propel option. The blade is powered by a side valve 4 cycle Briggs and Stratton engine, which is started by the standard pull rope starter.

Model 7021R series is the top of the line for Husqvarna. Featuring rear wheel drive, and optional blade clutch, this mower offers a good combination of power and safety. It is powered by a 4 cycle overhead valve ( OHV) Honda engine. Priced at about $400.00, this is good value for a mower with a solid reputation.

For those seeking something new in a lawn mower, consider Model HVT52, which is a hoovering mower. This machine has no wheels - it floats on a cushion of air. The flow of air is designed to allow the grass to be lifted and cut by a heavy duty trimmer line ( a solid blade is not used). This is especially handy when trimming near the water, since the mower will hoover over water as well as grass. It is powered by a 4 cycle overhead valve ( OHV) Honda engine. Retail price is about $599.00.
