The Little Wonder Leaf Blower is a machine designed to get things done - quickly. This brand has several innovative design features that make it one great machine. From top quality engines to solid construction on the impeller and frames, this is a brand worth considering.

The discharge chute is square in shape, located close to the ground, and has a split stream deflector that prevents leaf blow back towards the machine. The pneumatic tires have tubes, and measure 10 inches in diameter. The rear handle has two positions for operator comfort.

The Little Wonder Leaf Blower Optimax series has 3 models to choose from. Each of these is self propelled,

Let’s start with Model LB 170s. This baby is powered by a Subaru SP 170 4 stroke engine, which has 169cc displacement. The impeller is a 17 inch steel construction, with the standard 7 blades designed with a reverse angle for optimal air flow. The specifications for wheeled leaf blowers are quite impressive - this model moves 1397 CFM at 153 MPH! Needless to say this can move a big pile of dry leaves in a hurry. This unit weighs in at 109 lbs, and has the front swivel wheel conversion kit as an option. Count on spending about $900.00.

The next Optimax Little Wonder Leaf Blower is Model LB 160h, which is powered by a Honda GC 160 engine that sports 163cc. The blade remains 17 inch steel, with identical air movement (1397 CFM) and speed (153 MPH). The price is a competitive $900.00.

Model B 270SC Classic has the most to offer of the Optimax standard series blowers. Powered by a Subaru EX 27 engine with a 265cc displacement, this big brother boasts a discharge volume of 2260 CFM, at 143 MPH. To handle the increased air flow, the discharge chute size is increased to 25 square inches, instead of the 14.8 square inches seen on the other Optimax models. The weight also increases to 140 lbs, and of course the optional front wheel swivel kit is available.

Little Wonder offers a mid-range line of leaf blowers, identified as “Fully Featured” push blowers. These all share a common frame design, with standard features such as remote air chute control, 10 inch front tires and 12 inch rear tires (all pneumatic), optional swivel front tire kit, and air volume greater than 2000 CFM. The difference in the 4 models depends on the engine you choose. Model LB 400S has a Subaru EX40 engine, with a 404cc displacement. Model LB 390H comes equipped with the Honda GX390 engine, which has 389cc displacement. Model LB 270H sports the Honda GX270 engine, with 270cc displacement. Finally, Model LB 270S has the Subaru EX27 engine, with 265cc displacement. For pricing, contact your local dealer.

So maybe you are one of those leaf blower operators with discriminating taste. Price is no object - you just want the best there is to offer of any brand. For customers in this category, Little Giant leaf blower has the Optimax self propelled series of blowers. As the name implies, this baby not only blows leaves (or water, debris, and anything else) it actually moves itself, sparing you the effort and fatigue! All of the engines available on the full featured Optimax blowers are available here also. Model LB 400S-SP has a Subaru EX40 engine, with a 404cc displacement. Model LB 390H-SP comes equipped with the Honda GX390 engine, which has 389cc displacement. Model LB 270H-SP sports the Honda GX270 engine, with 270cc displacement. Finally, Model LB 270S-SP has the Subaru EX27 engine, with 265cc displacement. For pricing, contact your local dealer.

There are 4 different models to choose from. All have the capability of moving forward and backwards, with variable speed. Going forward, a brisk pace up to 4.1 MPH is available, and backwards is a safer (and slower) 2.5 MPH. Air volume on all models is well above 2000 CFM, with air speeds over 140 MPH.

The Little Wonder Leaf Blower line is cool to look at, and a joy to use. These machines are built to last and perform!
